The Higher Education Sector at the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research discusses the annual report of Al-Hikma University for the academic year 2023/2024.

The Higher Education Sector Committee, chaired by Dr. Ibrahim Ghalib Luqman, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Chairman of the Committee, discussed the report of Al-Hikma University in the presence of a number of ministry advisors, committee members, and heads of report axes.

Mr. Mohammed Al-Tarjumi, Director of the Office of the University President, reviewed the university's report in the presence of University President Dr. Mukhtar Dael, Dr. Majid Al-Qatwi, Director of the Sana'a Branch of the University, and Dr. Khairullah Al-Kamil, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance at the University. 

 

The presentation covered multiple topics, including general data, strategic planning, governance and leadership, activities and services, teaching and learning, training and qualification, faculty members, scientific research, financial and administrative affairs, projects, and community service, in addition to the most notable achievements, difficulties, and recommendations.

 

The meeting also witnessed extensive discussions by the heads of the axes, who presented their observations on each axis separately, and these observations were delivered to the leadership of Al-Hikma Educational Institution to be used in its upcoming reports.

At the end of the meeting, Dr. Ibrahim Luqman praised the level of interaction and the quality of the report presented, and expressed the ministry's appreciation for the university's efforts to develop academic and administrative performance, stressing that such a meeting contributes to strengthening the partnership between the ministry and higher education institutions and represents a real opportunity to improve quality, address shortcomings, and achieve university education goals.

For their part, Dr. Mukhtar Dael, President of Al-Hikma University, and Dr. Majid Al-Qatwi, Vice President of the University, expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the ministry's leadership and the committee tasked with discussing the reports, as well as the ministry's keenness to follow up and evaluate. They affirmed their commitment to taking all observations into account and working to implement them in a way that contributes to improving institutional and academic performance.
